“The unthankful heart discovers no mercies; but let the thankful heart sweep through the day and, as the magnet finds the iron, so it will find, in every hour, some heavenly blessing.”

 – Henry Ward Beecher

“This year could have been hard, but honestly, I’m thankful for peace and trust in trials. ‘Praise You in This Storm’ is one of my favorites right now. Trusting in His will is hard sometimes, but what a huge blessing. I’m thankful for the joy of hardships.” – Amanda V.

“All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God. Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.” – 2 Corinthians 4:15-16

“God has been good to me and exceedingly patient. Here are just some of the things I'm thankful for:

  • His longsuffering, patience, kindness and forbearance with me as a wayward sheep

  • His allowing me to be diagnosed with cancer and thus far survive it

  • His ministry of grace to my children who have suffered through divorce

  • His faithful provision to meet needs over the years

  • Safety through many miles of driving

  • Faithful prayers of friends and family that have helped sustain me

  • Weakness and a genetic disease that keeps me relying on His grace

All is definitely to His glory.” – Bob C.

“I would maintain that thanks are the highest form of thought, and that gratitude is happiness doubled by wonder.” – G.K. Chesterton

“Oh, God I am so grateful for the freedom You offer. My physical freedoms may decline as I age, and social freedoms are dependent on government/other people. But You provide me true spiritual freedom and Your strength and power in that freedom. (2 Corinthians 3:17, John 8:31-32, Galatians 5:1, 2 Peter 2:19)” - JKS
