As God’s child, it’s natural to long for God’s promises to come to fruition sooner rather than later. But our sovereign God has a good plan for the unfolding of history. Trust His timing, and live faithfully in the waiting. One day, our “governors” will be “peace,” and our “rulers” will be “well-being.” “Salvation” and “praise” will be our walls and gates. We were in a hopeless state of lostness, but God Himself intervened for our salvation by His own will and power. He is the Redeemer Who saves the repentant. He seals us with His Holy Spirit. We are forever His. - TV

We can’t begin to comprehend the depths of the thoughts of God! We trust in what He’s revealed to us, believing that what we don’t know is consistent and infinitely more beautiful than what we do know - He is loving, He is good, He is just, He is merciful, He is wise - beyond the nth degree! One day, we’ll see Him face to face and in all of His glory! And worship will be our only right and appropriate response. - TV

They were to live lives of compassionate action, expressing love for God by caring for the oppressed and the helpless. Are your prayers and actions consistent with God’s heart? Consider a fast to help you spend dedicated time realigning your priorities with His. - TV
