God * is holy, holy, holy * disciplines those He loves * brings to pass all that He’s planned, promised, and purposed.

Father, help me to be still – in mind, soul, and body. Help me to desire to hear from You, to revel in Your goodness, to be sensitive to others around me, to be obedient to Your voice and promptings, and to welcome any changes You desire to make in me. May my time with You be a catalyst for living more intentionally and walking more closely with Your Holy Spirit. God, I open my hands to receive all that You have for me. “I am the Lord’s servant; may it happen to me according to Your Word.” (Luke 1:38) In the beautiful Name of Jesus, amen. - TV

Full redemption is beyond the capability of any human being. God the Messiah is our only true, sure hope. His rescue plan accomplishes what we can’t – eternal salvation and security. – TV

Under the new covenant, all believers serve as priests of the Most High God. We have the honor and responsibility to read His Word, seek to understand it, confess our sins directly to Him, and minister to others. Walk in this calling with the full humility and weight it deserves. – TV

God’s intention for His people from the beginning has been for them to be defined by a Sabbath – time set aside to rest, worship, find our joy in Him, keep from speaking idle words, and reflect on Him without the distractions of our routine, everyday lives. God expects this from His people. It was instituted by Him for our good. The enemy uses our fast-paced, hurried culture to promote the lie that we don’t have time for a Sabbath. But, “resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7) You need a Sabbath. – TV

“We may be certain that whatever God has made prominent in His Word, He intended to be conspicuous in our lives. If He has said much about prayer, it is because He knows we have much need of it.” – Charles Spurgeon

“Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law My servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” – Joshua 1:7-9
