In Exodus 6, God boldly laid out His plan for the deliverance of Israel from slavery to Egypt. He then proceeded to fulfill every promise made in that plan, and Israel was saved. He does the same for us today. His beautiful plan of salvation from our sin is fulfilled in accepting the gospel – that Jesus Christ died on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for our sin; that He was buried and came back to life; and that He will one day return so that we can spend an eternity enjoying the freedom for which He’s redeemed us. “When Esther’s words were reported to Mordecai, he sent back this answer: ‘Do not think that because you are in the king’s house you alone of all the Jews will escape. For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?’” – Esther 4:12-14
