My First Blog!
Okay, here goes. My first blog entry! So this will basically be a journal of my simple little life and an opportunity for me to write down the things God is teaching me from day to day. Wish I could guarantee earth-shattering or hilarious or thought-provoking. I'm afraid it will just be little ol' me - unedited!
Today was productive - spread mulch on the patio over the grass that refused to grow, baked some brownies for our first guests to "the Selby" who are coming over tomorrow night, vacuumed the stairs (I hate vacuuming the stairs!), peeled some carrots, and got a haircut - I can see again! Due to my extremely beautiful appearance with the new 'do, Mr. Wonderful is upstairs as we speak, changing clothes so that we can go out for a little dinner! What a sweet guy that Scott is!
In my Bible reading today, the recurring theme was that the Lord is heartbroken over mankind's repeated refusal to accept His love. God's love is RELENTLESS - but apparently so is man's stubbornness. How it breaks God's heart! So just in case you're wondering...God loves you and is waiting for you with open arms.
